This will be a problem if you have a follower, but you can stop them from stepping on any wrong plates by commanding them to 'wait' near the beginning of the puzzle section. When the party comes to the next puzzle involving pressure plates, you can once again bypass this by only stepping on the plates with the Dragonborn symbol on. To solve the puzzle and get the bridge to lower, you'll have to change all three markers so that they display the Dragonborn symbol, as hinted at by Esbern. Unfortunately, you'll find even more Forsworn inside the ruins, before coming to your first puzzle. You'll have to kill all the Forsworn and the sole Hagraven in the area before you can proceed, and keep in mind that a Dragon can sometimes spawn in Karthspire Camp, only increasing the level of chaos in the vicinity.Įither way, you'll have to kill off everyone with the help of Delphine and Esbern, before heading inside the caverns. You can either travel with Delphine or Esbern, or meet them just outside of Karthspire Camp, but either way you'll have to group up with them to take out all the bandits in the camp area. At this point, Delphine and Esbern will instruct the player to journey to Sky Haven Temple, which is also a part of Karthspire Camp. Head inside the Sleeping Giant Inn with him, and you'll meet up with Delphine in the secret hideout through the back left door of the inn. I have tried several followers from the list on this wikia like several housecarls and companions, whom should normally be able to become blades.The Alduin's Wall quest in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim has the Dragonborn meeting up with Esbern in Riverwood, where they meet another accomplice in their fight against Alduin. The dialoge never comes up when I have a follower with me but the other dialoges that should appear after the quest do. Now every time I take a follower to Delphine, I can't make that follower into a blade. Delphine went back to the Sleeping Giant Inn and Esbern went back to his place in the Ratway. After I left Sky Haven Temple and returned I found out that Delphine and Esbern had left. When I talked to Delphine immediatly after the quest I was able to start the quest Rebuilding the Blades. When I tried to do this I had to skip one quest to make this problem disappear.Īfter the quest was Alduin's Wall was finished Delphine and Esbern stayed in Sky Haven Temple for as long as I stayed there. When the quest Alduin's Wall was completed the next quest didn't start, so I thought I could just fix it with console commands. The problems happend afterwards, the first was that the next quest didn't start and the secend was that Delphine and Esbern did'nt stay in Sky Haven Temple. When I entered Sky Haven Temple for the first time with Delphine and Esbern the quest proceded and finished normally.
